The 105th American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) annual meeting was held in San Diego, California April 5-9, 2014. About 18,000 cancer research professionals attended this meeting from all over the world. The meeting theme for this year was “Harnessing Breakthroughs – Targeting Cures.”
Founded in 1907, the AACR is dedicated to the prevention and cure of cancer through research, education, communication and collaboration. AACR members include scientists in all cancer research fields from US and other 90 countries worldwide.

Tarcine BioMed maintained a comprehensive overview of the current status and future directions of cancer mutation detection technologies through attending this AACR annual meeting. Both attendees had effective communications with cancer research scientists and representatives from cancer diagnostic companies, while seeking collaboration opportunities in product distribution and co-development.
